Team Retires #1 in honor of Tony Alibrandi

In honor for his years of support and for his induction into the Yawkey Baseball League Hall of Fame the team has announced that they will retire the #1. Tony will be honored in a pregame ceremony prior to the season opener for the 2001 season

BoSox Club honors the 2002 YBL Champions

The official boster club of the Boston Red Sox honored the Alumni Team for the fifth time in six seasons for winning the Yawkey Baseball League Championship. The event will be held at the Newton Marriot on Septermber 27th. All of the amateur baseball champions from accross New England will be in attendance. The BoSox will also its 2002 Man of the Year Award. Past winners include Wade Boggs, Trot Nixon and John Harrington.
